Antique Palazzo Desk

Copied from an original found in the palazzo in Nethyrin, left behind by its former inhabitants.  Elegant and stunning, it has an embedded leather writing surface, mirrored hutch, secret compartments, and raised pedestals for extra room for decor or storage off of the writing surface. Crafted by Sanibel Woods, Wynn ap Maddock -artisan.

Don't compete with your love's paperwork for attention.. join them! This leather top flat top cherry desk  sits two facing each other. It has a compartment and drawers on one side and two compartments on the other. The tops of both banks are put together with large hand cut dovetails. The desk was made in three pieces so it is easy to move up or down stairs or through narrow door ways.. Measures 60 inches wide by 36 inches deep by 30 and one half inches high. Each bank is 17 inches wide. The inside open space where one sits is 22 and one half inches.

Four-sided, stylized gryphons hand carved into the bun footed legs. Dentil molding, double-tiered kiln-dried top and ornate scrollwork of this sculptural piece continue 360 degrees. Use it as a writing desk, or a hall table.
