      Diamante's presence at the Shadow Guardian Stables was the result of a bargain, and a price to be paid.  Tristan Slaytir brought the pregnant mare to the stables on his last day as stable manager, half of his trade meant for Evens Up.  He'd bought her from Kyral Laithe, the manager and owner of Nouvelle Aube.  Already an established QCC Racer, it was part of her value that made her appropriate to trade for the mare the young Seeker sought.  Her stay at the stables was only to be until her foal was born and weaned, whereupon she would be returned to Kyral, and Nouvelle Aube.  For information on this mare, please contact the Lady D.E.
