Created for use by an Assassin's Guild, the Shadow Guardian Inn was specifically designed to lack corners and shadows, to allow the guild members to relax and lower their guard... as much as an assassin e'er lowers their guard.  The Flaming Skull Tavern, as the structure was first named, was designed and constructed by Kasryn, Duke of Nyt, for Lady Kara Jhereg.  When she departed the Realm, the structure was left to the Lady Debra Erin Sunhaven.  The Sunhaven negotiated with Kai Darkstorm, and it was agreed that she would maintain ownership and operation of the bar, but that the rest of the structure was now guild property.  The bar and building, and those within it, are protected from hostile magicks by powerful wards, permanently placed by a sorceress of rare skill and power, and imbedded into the very structure itself.

     Renamed the Shadow Guardian Inn with the formation of SGoD, the Inn is circular and well lit.  The tables are arranged with benches against the wall allowing those seated a clear view of the entire room. The raised hearth is in the center, beneath a massive stone chimney.  High up on this chimney is a wide ledge, hidden and concealed where an individual may silently and secretly observe the patrons of the Inn.  The heat is regulated by the tender, through the use of levers behind the bar.  Surrounding the hearth is the well stocked and circular hardwood bar. Renovations were made creating several large windows and skylights, equipped with inner and outer latches.  The outer latches are especially modified to only allow certain individuals to utilize them.
