Ghost Match ~ The worth of a GM is dependent
upon the terms stated for the match. A GM is worth 8 times the difference
in score to the victor if the ghosting period is for 24 or more hours.
Anything less than 24 hours, to a minimum of 4 hours, a GM is worth 3 times
the difference in the score to the victor. The loser of a GM must remain
a ghost for the agreed upon time within the terms of the match, not to be
less than 4 hours from the end of combat, the maximum time period is the
combatant's choice. ((When one is a "ghost"
one should have as little contact with others as possible, no public rooms,
extremely limited private rooms, IM contact, if any at all. Always remember
your character is dead... a ghost.)) Depending on the stated
terms, the loser of a GM may be resurrected through an Resurrection Match.
The victor is never required to accept such a match, indeed, it may be stated
in the terms that nau Resurrection is permitted. If the terms allow for
Resurrection, any
number of challengers may come forward seeking a RM. The loser of a GM receives
5 QCoins for the experience gained.
All GM's require a Proctor, who earns 10 Qcoins for
their labor.
Resurrection Match ~ A RM is worth 6
times the difference in score to the victor. RM's are fought to Rezz a fallen
combatant of a DM or GM. In both cases, if the "Challenger" (the combatant
attempting to Rezz the loser of the DM or GM) should win, the fallen combatant
is then brought back to life. No harm befalls the "Challenged" (the winning
combatant of the first match). If the "Challenger" should lose, the fallen
comrade stays dead; he/she becomes a ghost for the remainder of the original
time period as stated in the terms of the previous GM, or for a stated and
agreed upon time period in the case of a DM. The loser of a RM receives 5
QCoins for the experience gained.
DM ~ The possibility of a Resurrection Match for a DM
is dependent upon the stated and agreed upon terms of the DM.
GM ~ There is no limit to the number of "Challengers"
that may come forward and attempt to Rezz a "Ghosted" comrade; however the
"Challenged" may decline any match, and the terms of the GM may state that
RMs are naut permitted.
All RM's require a Proctor, who earns 10 Qcoins for
their labor.
Mass Spar ~ These are fought with a minimum
of three combatants, and may be fought with rank weapons or with equal weapons;
provided the weapons used do naut exceed the highest valued rank weapon of
the combatants. The MS will be fought to a pre-determined score, as each
combatant reaches that score they are eliminated from the MS. Split and Random
Attacks are naut permitted. The Victor shall receive QCoins equal to 5 times
the number of combatants defeated. Those eliminated from a MS by combat
shall receive 5 QCoins.
A Proctor is naut required but is recommended. The
Proctor earns 5 Qcoins for their labor.
Honor Match ~ A HM is worth 5 times
the difference in score to the victor, with the loser gaining 5 QCoins. HM's
are usually fought to restore Honor, although how this is accomplished by
combat has ne'er been clear to me.
A Proctor is naut required but is recommended, as it is a
good place for one to practice proctoring and it allows the combatants to both
focus entirely on the match. The
Proctor earns 2 Qcoins for their labor.
Spar ~ This is a practice combat, meant
to hone the skills of those participating, and is worth 5 times the difference
in score to the victor, with the loser gaining 5 QCoins.
A Proctor is naut required but is recommended, as it is a
good place for one to practice proctoring and it allows the combatants to both

Slave Match ~ SMs are fought to gain
ownership of another individual. I will not forbid any of ye to fight this
type of match, although I do give ye all this warning... I do naut wish to
know of it, and will award nau QCoins for that type of combat.
Death Match ~ A Match of Death is a
most serious matter, and is not one that will be grouped together with Matches
that might be undertaken to hone skills or earn QCoins. A Guardian acting
on behalf of the Guild will be amply rewarded for risking their life in service
to the Guild. The victor would also possibly receive bounties set by the
Guild or by individuals. The loser must honorably follow the terms of the
match as agreed upon before combat began. Possible Resurrection (or Rezz)
is a matter discussed in the terms. It is also strongly suggested that the
agreed upon terms for a DM allow for at least 10 rounds of combat, and that
upon the conclusion of a DM the Proctor be requested to send the match to
the Wardens of Loreil for verification.
All DM's require a Proctor. In this most serious of
Matches, one Proctoring shall earn 20 Qcoins.
